It all Starts with an Invitation

Happy August! I hope everyone is surviving this crazy heat that has been happening everywhere. The movie night that closed out July went amazing.  Other than that, there has been a lot of pool time with friends and family, and spending time inside in the nice cool air.

While inside, I have been working on so many projects. Something that you may not know about me, is that I am a huge crafter. My happy place is in my craft space. I’ve been using my Cricut to make cups. However, my creative juices went in a different direction this month and I have been creating digital party invites.

The invite is one of the small touches that can set the tone for any party. The invite can tell you a lot more than just the words written on it. It can be easy to see if the party will be formal or have a specific theme. It is also something that adds personalization to your party.

Themes can be subtle or over the top. An invitation can be as simple as tying in the color scheme of the party or truly giving the party a life of its own. I’ve been enjoying making invites for kid’s birthday parties. Tying in the various themes.

A good play on words can become the whole theme, like One S’more Year, or Ready Four the Stars. These now become the theme and truly provide direction for planning the party. I love being a part of all of your parties, in all ways big or small.

I am so excited to share with you some new recipes, party planning tips and take you along as we close out summer and begin prepping for fall. For those who have already started back at school, I hope the year is off to a great start. And to those who school hasn’t started back yet, enjoy the last of summer. I know I am!
